The Marshall W. Alworth Planetarium presents the guided presentations HERCULES AND OTHER SUPERHERO STARS and THE NIGHT SKY (star show).

(Presented as a program for children and their family.)

HERCULES AND OTHER SUPERHERO STARS: What better way to learn about the rainbow of stars than from the stars in the sky? Watch Hercules and other constellations come alive to show how stars work, the difference between red and blue stars, and all the spectacular stellar features up above. Recently remastered to 360 full-dome by MWA Planetarium, this Minneapolis Planetarium program is a true gem.

THE NIGHT SKY: A tour of the stars, constellations, and other objects you may see in the sky tonight. No two shows are alike!

Doors open at 1:30pm.

$5 Adults
$3 Kids (ages 6-12), Seniors (60+), UMD Students
FREE kids 5 and under

The Marshall W. Alworth Planetarium has free weekly shows on Wednesday at 7pm, and paid shows on Friday at 7pm and Saturday at 2pm and 7pm ($5 Adults; $3 Children 6 - 12, Seniors, Students; Children 5 and under FREE).

To purchase online tickets for a paid show, click on the registration button. You will be asked how many tickets you wish to purchase and for your credit card information. You can select to download a pdf version of your tickets or to have your tickets emailed to you as a pdf attachment. Please bring a printed copy of your tickets with you to the event.
