The Marshall W. Alworth Planetarium presents the guided presentations MOONS OF THE SOLAR SYSTEM and THE NIGHT SKY (star show).

MOONS OF THE SOLAR SYSTEM: Jupiter has 63 moons (give or take a couple) and Saturn has 67. Some of these moons are similar to our but others are strange places indeed. Some may even support life! Discover some of the most interesting bodies in the Solar System.

THE NIGHT SKY: A tour of the stars, constellations, and other objects you may see in the sky tonight. No two shows are alike!

Doors open at 6:30pm.

$5 Adults
$3 Kids (ages 6-12), Seniors (60+), UMD Students
FREE kids 5 and under

The Marshall W. Alworth Planetarium has free weekly shows on Wednesday at 7pm, and paid shows on Friday at 7pm and Saturday at 2pm and 7pm ($5 Adults; $3 Children 6 - 12, Seniors, Students; Children 5 and under FREE).

To purchase online tickets for a paid show, click on the registration button. You will be asked how many tickets you wish to purchase and for your credit card information. You can select to download a pdf version of your tickets or to have your tickets emailed to you as a pdf attachment. Please bring a printed copy of your tickets with you to the event.
