HIP: The Benefits of Massage

Come learn about the benefits of massage, different types of massage, how to get the most from a massage, and receive some information regarding self care.

Facilitator: Nancy Schwerdt attended massage school for four years, worked at Eagle's Nest in Duluth as a beginning therapist, and now works with the Recreational Sports and Outdoor Programs as well as from her home. Her clients range from 14 years old to 77 facing everything everything from debilitating pain to ALS and Parkinsons. Some of her clients use massage to cope with anxiety, bulimia, or stress. Other's want to prep for long races, and some know that they simply feel better when they give their bodies this type of care.
