Mental Health First Aid is a groundbreaking public education program that introduces participants to the signs and symptoms of mental illness. An estimated one in four Americans have a diagnosable mental illness. Mental Health First Aiders are often the first line of support. Your body language, what you say, and how well you listen can have a powerful impact. You can make a difference!
UMD students, faculty, staff, and alumni are encouraged to register at the $85 rate. Email email@example.com with your UMD ID #, email address, and status (student, faculty, staff, alumni). A discount code allowing you to register online at the $85 rate will be emailed within two business days. Funding for this program was made possible through a Chancellor’s small grant. Funds are limited, register today!
Mental Health First Aid Certification Training is offered through UMD Continuing Education and is co-sponsored by UMD Employee Wellness Program/Human Resources & Equal Opportunity.
