UMD EMPLOYEE WELLNESS PROGRAM
Learn the health related effects of tobacco and second-hand smoke, along with health of the environment, UMD's Smoke Free Policy, and some challenges in finding employment if one is a tobacco user.
Facilitator: Lindsay Aijala is a senior at the University of Wisconsin Superior. She will be graduating in May with a bachelor’s degree in Community Health Promotion and is interning with the American Lung Association for her last semester. Some previous topics that she has presented on include: environmental effects on community health, birth defects, and polio. She is excited to start a career in public health to help prevent and control certain health conditions by educating the community.
