Ecologist, author, and cancer survivor, Dr. Steingraber, is an internationally recognized authority on the environmental links to cancer and human health. Often referred to as the Rachel Carson of our generation, Dr. Steingraber is the author of three books including: Living Downstream, linking the risks to human health to the hundreds and thousands of chemicals released into our environment; Having Faith documenting the effects of chemicals on the developing fetus and breast milk; and Raising Elijah, an in depth look at the chemical exposure risks in the ordinary choices made in raising a child.
