V-Day is a global activist movement to end violence against women and girls. It is the catalyst that promotes creative events to increase awareness, raise money and revitalize spirits of existing anti-violence organizations. V-Day generates broader attention for the fight to stop violence against women and girls, including rape, battery, incest, female genital mutilation and sex slavery. Through V-Day campaigns, local volunteers and college students produce annual benefit performances of The Vagina Monologues, A Memory, A Monologue, A Rant, A Prayer and Any One of Us: Words from Prison to raise awareness and funds for anti-violence groups in Duluth including the YWCA's Girl Power, Safe Haven Shelter for Battered Women and Program to Aid Victims of Sexual Assault (PAVSA).

Auditions fo The Vagina Monologues, Any One of Us and A Memory, A Monologue, A Rant, A Prayer will be held in Kirby Student Center 351 (down the hallways behind Kirby Ballroom) in 10 minute increments.
