Beyond the benefits of fresh produce, gardening represents a good source of physical activity. Studies show that gardening promotes physical health, mental health through relaxation and satisfaction, and better nutrition!
This session will discuss the benefits of gardening, as well as the basic steps to starting your own seedlings!
Facilitator: Deb Shubat is the Biology Department's greenhouse director, a farmer, and an instructor of horticulture.
